Laura Navarre Photography is Closing in September 2025 after all booked Summer sessions have been completed.

**********I will not be booking any additional sessions outside of what was booked when the calendar opened in May **********

This is a very bittersweet announcement to make, but I have made the decision to not open a Fall Calendar and wanted to let all of you know early so that you can explore other avenues for your Fall family photos.

While I cannot begin to tell you how much I’ve loved working with all of your families over the years, working nights and weekends all while editing photos all day long is just not sustainable over this many years. Our new family business is thriving and my husband needs a second set of hands to keep it flourishing so I am so excited start a new chapter and go back to my roots and focus on digital media and marketing. Working together has always been our dream since the day we met and we feel so blessed that we finally have that chance to make it a reality.

Photography started as just a side hustle for me 20 years ago. It was a passion project that grew so big and so fast that it quickly became my primary career. While I’ve loved meeting so many clients over the years, that have also become lifelong friends, I also am so excited to close that chapter and work side-by-side with my husband and grow our business.

I know this may seem sudden to some of you, but I’ve actually been stressing over this for the last couple of years. Session requests have increased more and more each year. For me that means more and more evenings away from my family and more time in front of a screen editing.  While I am beyond appreciative for all of you who have trusted me with your precious family memories, every time I told my family I would scale back, my ‘never say no’ personality would still keep taking on more and more. I’ve reach a point where it’s a struggle to keep up. I want to be present in my family, my farm and in our new business and even with scaling back this Summer I’m still struggling to find the time for all of it.

While Im so sad to not be able to catch up each season as I see you all for sessions, I’m hoping with my newfound freedom in my evenings and weekends that I’ll get to see you all out and about and we can catch up over margaritas instead of through the camera. Again, thank you all so much for supporting my little business over all these years. I’m so honored that there was never a time where business was slow. Your dedicated following filled my cup up and gave me all the warm fuzzies every time I would post a calendar and 5 minutes later it was full. As overwhelming as it was sometimes, you have no idea what that means to a creative person. To have others love and appreciate what you create is incredible.

I know at some point I will get nostalgic and miss it, so even though I’m signing off for now, don’t be surprised if at some point in the future you see a pop up mini session callout, because I know in my heart I will miss all those smiles so much. But for now, I’m off to other endeavors..see you all around town!
